On each of the kids’ birthday’s, I write them a letter to be scrap booked for later. Today’s is for Landon. You may read his second letter HERE, his third letter HERE, his fourth letter HERE and his fifth letter HERE.

Landon,

Today you are 6! Happy 6th birthday, buddy. I can’t believe how fast these letters come every year, and that we’re back to another birthday. Amazing.

You’ve grown alot this year. You completed kindergarten, you have learned so much, and you’re going to be a big brother to someone else, before you turn 7. Amazing! You’re getting so tall, right before my eyes, you’re going to be my height in no time. You’re silly, but you’re kind, and you have the sweetest heart ever. You still love Superhero’s, you still love your blanket (but only at night) and you still love camping, snuggling your mommy, and talking to anyone and everyone.

I think the most fun parts for me this last year, is watching you with me being pregnant. Your Grandma Cheryl always says how loving you are, and it’s true, you are! But oh my, this baby has really reminded of the loving kindness you show. You hug my belly, talk to the baby, ask how I am, snuggle by me, bring me blankets. I know the bed rest hasn’t been easy on the both of you, but you’ve been so helpful and so entertaining for Emma.

It’s been fun to see you in your own room this year too, since we moved just before your birthday last year. You love camping out on the floor, you love playing flashlights, forts, and just being a boy. You love your Captain America room, your new “talkie walkies” and the microscope Auntie gave you today. You are, without a doubt, one of my favorite people in this big world. You have the best personality, full of humor and life, and I love it.

I love you, Landon. I love you, I love you, I love you. Even when life is a whirl wind, even when we’re going 100 mph, you’re always there to give me a hug, and to love on me. Thank you for being such a happy, gentle soul. And Happy Birthday, Landon. May you have the best year yet. I can’t wait to see you at 7.

Love,

Mommy
