I have two, Solene, pronounced Sew-Lynn and Everson. I always told my friend, Solene, that if I’d met her before my youngest was born, I’d have named her Solene. And, I just love Everson.ReplyCancel

Our daughter’s name is Raleigh Eleanor. Raleigh is pronounced like Raleigh, NC. She gets Riley often, though. We could not pick a girl’s name for the life of us until her name came along when my mother met a family who used that name. We loved it instantly. Eleanor comes from a student I taught with Autism who changes my life and my perspective on so many things! Happy searching!ReplyCancel

My daughter is Joy Anna. About a week before she was born, I had a sonogram. She is 21, so they didn’t do them as often. At that sonogram, we found at she was a girl! When I told my son, he was devastated. My mild mannered 5 year old went nuts. He screamed and cried for 45 minutes. After he could contain himself, he came out of his room and told me that if we had to have a girl, we should name it “Rejoice in the Lord always.” We had been teaching him to rejoice in all things ๐Ÿ™‚ We decided that was a little long, so we decided on just joy. We had planned on Miranda Joy, but she didn’t look like a Miranda. We decided on Joy Anna. Several years later, we were glad we had named her that – it is much harder to stay mad when you have to shout “Joy” first off! Best wishes for your new little one! ReplyCancel
