I’m not gonna lie. I thought we were done with winter. Two weeks ago it was probably 40 degrees, and I was happily cleaning up pine needles and pine cones and singing in the sunshine. Ok, maybe not singing, but you get the idea. Ahem. Anyway, we had a winter storm warning last Wednesday, but the morning started out sunny, so I happily went about my day, determined that snow would not come.
So, that worked out well and we have a foot of snow at our house. Ahem. 😉 The kids love it. Especially Emma. I have to convince Landon he wants to go out in snow, but then he has a blast (he’s a warm weather guy) but Emma rolls in it, tries to eat it, crawls in it, generally LOVES it.
Case in point.
Landon likes to shovel. All.day.long. He says he’s being like mommy. 😉
Mommy doesn’t mind. 😉
Also, snow angels are a must.
Especially when you have the chance to teach your little sister the perfect way to make them. 🙂
And, finally, throwing snow in the air!
The snow was fun, and the kids had such a happy day. (the next day it was -12. BRRR.) Today it’s melting and dreary, but I can’t say I mind the drear as long as it melts. March is here, and I’m ready for spring ya’ll!
Emmalia, however, is happy with any kind of weather. 😉
